Lip Scrubs

Hey everyone!
Now that summer is around the corner and we will be wearing more lipsticks, glosses, and balms I thought it would be a good idea to do a post about lip scrubs!  There is no point in wearing that beautiful coral lipstick if your lips are dry and flaky underneath...
I have a few suggestions for you:
1)      Lush makes a lip scrub that comes in 3 flavours and does a great job of exfoliating your lips.  The base consists of: Castor Sugar and Jojoba Oil

2)      Bath & Body Works has a lip scrub by C. O. Bigelow in a mint green container.  I can’t find it on their website but I know it is at the store.
3)      Make your own!  It is really easy to make your own lip scrub... All you need is some olive oil and sugar!  If you want to get adventurous you can add oils like jojoba or mint but all you really need is olive oil and sugar.  Slowly add the olive oil to the sugar and make a paste, then apply to your lips and scrub!
Don’t forget to keep your lips moisturized after you exfoliate :)
Enjoy!

Thank you for reading!

Kayla

DIY: Face Mask

I was looking for a cheap and easy DIY face mask recipe the other day and came across one that sounded too good to be true...

1 part Honey
1 part plain yogurt

I thought to myself... That seems too easy and wont it just slide off of my face?  I decided to try it anyways and I am so glad that I did!  I used one of the prepackaged individual sized yogurts and took out one tablespoon and mixed it with equal parts honey and then slathered that on my clean skin.  I ended up mixing up the rest and putting it on my neck and chest and I was pleasantly surprised!  It was so nourishing and moisturizing.  It made my skin so soft!  I left it on for about 10-12 minutes and then jumped in the shower.

If you are looking for a quick DIY face mask then I recommend you try this one! :)
