Hey ladies!
I have heard so many people say that their lips have become plump and moisturized AND their lashes have grown so much by putting Vaseline on them before bed. So I am going to do the Vaseline Challenge and I will comment on this post with updates! I don't know if I am going to do it for one or two weeks, I guess if I see results I will just keep going with it! If it really works then it will become part of my nightly routine!
Do any of you do this?
xoxo,
Kayla
*UPDATE*: I felt I should do another little update about this stuff... I mentioned in the comments below that I don't like using it on my eyes anymore, just doesn't work for me, but I DO still use it on my eyebrows. I have no clue why but my eyebrows and the skin around it tend to be quite dry in the winter. I find a little bit of vaseline on them before bed really helps to keep that area soft. I wish I had better things to say about my vaseline challenge, but I really don't have much use for it. Aside from the brows and sometimes lips!
great idea, heard about this trick but am wary of trying it on my eyelashes. will be good to see the results.

Day One - My lips are definitely softer this morning, I usually have quite dry lips in the winter. My eye lashes don't really look any different yet, but my eyebrows and eyelids are moisturized, that's for sure. It didn't get in my eyes (I only used a little bit... didn't goop it on there) so I am happy about that. I was a little concerned that it would, but it didn't! YAY! lol
ReplyDeleteOkay, I know I only posted after the first day, but i kept trying it and wasn't impressed! Rather than say right away that I wasn't liking it I thought I would just wait a few days and keep trying it until I realized it just wasn't for me. It got everywhere on my pillows and PJ's and it wasn't very nice waking up with on my eyes. It never got in my eyes or anything, but it just didn't feel nice. As for the lips, there are many other methods of moisturizing your lips at bed time. I would go with those!
